My visit to February's INCREDIBLE PRAISE!

On February 17th, I visited the Zion Baptist Evangelical Temple in Compton for the second service of "INCREDIBLE PRAISE". This service is purposed to be the premier worship experience for Young Adults here in southern california. It is a vision of Dr. Kevin Stafford that individuals from various churches can come together and praise & worship God. This month's service was "Off The Chain In Jesus Name". The attendance, momentum and flow was at an all time high. Pastors, ministers, evangelists and musical guests was present and participatory (my new word). There was a great delegation of youth and young adults. The special guest were an anointed dance ministry from Riverside, CA (pardon me for note remembering their group name), Recording Artist "T.C. Bereal", and many others. These young people are surely on fire for the Lord. A special surprise was granted by IP's own "BLUENBLACK". A gospel rap group from Compton, CA. Rev. Jason Lewis was the lecturer and yours truly served as the Keynote Speaker. Both words were powerful and well received. What a night. The people of God was blessed and I look forward to round #3 which will take place on Mar. 16th @ 7pm sharp! This service is postured to take place every 3rd sunday of the month. I send a shout of to the ministry team of IP and ZBET for their spirit of excellence and servanthood. You will do yourself a favor to not miss the next "INCREDIBLE PRAISE". Until we meet again...........

Happy Leap Year!!!!!

Understanding God and His divine order is uncomprehensible. I never understood as a child how my mother would explain to me the concept of "LEAP YEAR". When God created the world, He designed every year with a cycle of 365 days. Every four years, we have a year with a cycle of 366 days, this year is call "LEAP YEAR". The year 2008 is considered a "LEAP YEAR" with 366 days in it. Even studying the biblical numerology system, I could not find any spiritual revelance, so thus all I have to say is that you have an extra day this year to get it right!!!!!!! Have a good week............

Ministering Throughout The Month of February!

Off all the the assignments on my life, the preaching and teaching ministry is one of my favorites. I completely understand that God has gifted me with the ability to rightly divide His word of truth and thus lives are changed and transformed. It is only through the power of His word that this happens. Though I am a full-time Pastor which affords me the opportunity to teach and preach weekly, I always look forward to ministering outside the pulpit of the congregation that I serve. I also am convinced that God uses me in the area of an Evangelist. This month I had the awesome opportunity of sharing with congregations in Pasadena, Los Angeles, Compton, Bakersfield, Palmdale and Las Vegas. February was a great month of ministry. I give Him praise for allowing me to minister by way of His strenght, power and endurance. I also praise God for the invitations by the Senior Pastors to minister to their local congregations. Most importantly, my prayer is that at each "Pit Stop", someone was blessed and received the ministry of the Word. I personally want to give God praise for the great members of the Philadelphia MBC, Morning Star MBC, New Light MBC, Victory In Christ Ministries Inc., Second Baptist Church, True Way MBC, Salvation of Christ MBC, Zion Baptist Evangelistic Temple and of course the New Corinthian BC of Pasadena. To God be the glory for all that He has done. Isaiah 40:8 says that "The grass may wither, the flowers may fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever". Be Blessed.......................

Happy Valentines Day To All!!!!

I bid each of my family, friends and ministry partners a great Valentine's Day! Make sure you share love with those who complete your circle of Life. The greatest love given to man is found in John 3:16 when God gave unto us His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. What a wonderful savior+++++++

Be Blessed!!!!!!!!!

On this past tuesday evening, I was honored to share as the evangelist for the New Philadelphia M.B.C. pastored by the Elder Eugene O. Bryant during their Winter Revival. This was my second year serving in this capacity for this congregation. I always enjoy my fellowship with this wonderful body of believers. I invited a local muscial group to minister for me prior to preaching called "ALL FOR CHRIST" and their ministry was anointed and well received. I want to personally thank my minisrty partners and blog readers who attended this service and those who continually pray for me as I minister beyond the walls of the local congregation. Continue to pray and support the ministry with diligence!!!!!!!!!!

History is made at Super Bowl XLII

This past sunday the world watched in record fashion as the New York Giants football team pulled off the biggest upset in what I'm calling Super Bowl history. The Giants beat the then undefeated New England Patriots in a close football game. Of course, I wanted to see history made with the Patriots winning and posting the first 19-0 record in NFL history. However, history was still made with the Giants win in several ways. Never had a team who was the underdog as the Giants were won a game against such a force as the Patriots. The Patriots had a flawless season recording a perfect 18-0 regular season record. I'm told that more than 101 million viewers tuned in to see this spectacular game in Glendale, AZ. The scores was not high, but the intensity throughout the game was unsurpassed. Bottom line: the Giants were more hungrier for the game than the Patriots were and thus the final score was 17-14. See local sports columns for the details of the game. The Giants quarterback, Eli Manning was voted as the game MVP. This was a record cause his brother Peyton Manning won the MVP at last years Super Bowl game with a win over the steelers (I believe). Though I didnt get my wish, it was still a good game. I wasn't too sad cause the famous Dallas Cowboys is my die hard team. Now let's get ready for the NBA All-Star game in two weeks. Be Blessed!!!!!!!!
